About

Hey, I'm Elsa.

QA engineer. YouTuber. Solo builder. I show what it actually looks like to work in tech — and build the tools I wish existed.

QA engineer, YouTuber, and course creator. I make content about what QA work actually looks like — the tools, the mindset, the career path. No fluff, no padding.

The journey

How I got here

2015–2021

Started as a QA Engineer

Landed my first QA role in 2015. No roadmap, no mentor — just a lot of figuring it out. Six years of real-world testing across different teams and products. The frustration of not finding honest resources planted the seed for everything that came next.

2022

Launched @elsaqa on YouTube

Started filming the job from the inside. Vlogs, walkthroughs, honest takes. The kind of content I was looking for when I started — and couldn't find.

2023

1,000 subscribers

First major milestone. Proved there was a real audience for no-fluff QA content. Doubled down on the channel and started thinking bigger.

2026

Built the course platform

Vibe-coded a full learning platform from scratch. Courses, roadmaps, progress tracking, coupons — the complete infrastructure for the QA education I wanted to exist.

2026 →

3,600 subscribers & growing

178K+ views and counting. Started offering QA services and custom solutions for teams and founders. Building in public, learning in public.

Background

Why I make this stuff

I started making YouTube videos because I couldn't find content that showed what QA work actually looks like from the inside. Most content was either too high-level or too focused on getting a certification — not on doing the job well.

Same reason I'm building a course. The QA education space is full of content that teaches you to tick boxes. I want to teach you to think — how to find what others miss, how to communicate bugs that actually get fixed, how to be the QA engineer a team relies on.

Everything I make is directly from my own experience working as a QA engineer. If it's in my content, I actually use it at work.
